<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor, an image display device, and an image processing method, improving the view of image details regardless of use environment. <P>SOLUTION: This image processor, which corrects an image signal supplied to an image display section, includes: an luminance component correction quantity calculation section which calculates the correction quantity of luminance component of the image signal according to the viewing environment only for the image signal within a given range of luminance levels in a given spatial frequency band; and a luminance component correction section which corrects the luminance quantity of the image signal using the correction quantity calculated by the luminance component correction quantity calculation section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
