<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a commodity arrangement state when arranging, in a shelf, commodities displayed in a store in consideration of an evaluation value corresponding to sales profit. <P>SOLUTION: The commodity shelf arrangement device includes: a convenience information setting part generating convenience information of a commodity corresponding to obtained profit in each commodity and each shelf position when each of the plurality of commodities having different kinds is arranged any of the shelf positions; a genetic arrangement generation part executing prescribed calculation to a plurality of commodity arrangement states belonging to a first initial individual group and an N-th (N≥1) individual group, and repeatedly performing processing of generating an N+1th individual group including a plurality of new commodity arrangement states; and an arrangement determination part calculating the evaluation value wherein the convenience information of the respective commodities arranged in all the shelf positions are added to the respective commodity arrangement states belonging to the first and N+1th individual groups, and determining the optimum commodity arrangement state based on the evaluation value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
