<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delivery system enabling an efficient delivery by setting an appropriate delivery arrival format. <P>SOLUTION: The delivery system includes a delivery arrival format setting means for setting a delivery arrival format according to address information of a recipient for an item that is about to be dispatched. This allows to set the delivery arrival format according to the recipient address. Accordingly, even when a purchaser and a delivery address are different from each other, an appropriate delivery arrival format is set according to the recipient address to thereby enable an efficient delivery.
