PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a hybrid vehicle which, if adherent fuel is accumulated on the inner wall surface of an engine combustion chamber, reduces the adherent fuel on the wall surface by scavenging and can thus enhance engine startability.
SOLUTION: A drive system includes an engine Eng, a first clutch CL1, a motor/generator MG, and right and left rear wheels RR, RL. When there is a request to start the engine, the first clutch CL1 is connected or slip connected and engine starting control is performed with the motor/generator MG used as an engine-starting motor. For this FR (front-engine rear-drive) hybrid vehicle, a wall surface adhesion amount estimating means is provided for estimating the amount of adhesion to a wall surface, which is the amount of fuel adhering to the inner wall surface of the engine Eng. When there is a request to start the engine, engine start control means (Fig.5), (not shown in Fig.6) do not perform control for increasing the amount of fuel injection but continue the engine starting control based on cranking action, a certain amount of air and a certain amount of fuel injection even if there is an accelerator operation, as long as the estimated amount of adhesion to the wall surface is not less than a start limit of the amount of adhesion to the wall surface.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
