<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of unstable emission luminance in a situation where a synchronization clock signal from the outside fluctuates. <P>SOLUTION: A control circuit 20 generates a drive signal for driving a light emitting element 210. External synchronization oscillators 52, 62 receive the synchronization clock signals CK1, CK2 from the outside and generate external synchronization cycle signals CT<SB>-</SB>EXT/CTP<SB>-</SB>EXT, BCT<SB>-</SB>EXT which are in synchronization with the clock signal CK1. An internal oscillator 54 generates internal cycle signals CT<SB>-</SB>INT/CTP<SB>-</SB>INT, BCT<SB>-</SB>INT which are out of synchronization with the synchronization clock signals CK1, CK2 and have predetermined frequencies. A drive signal generating part 21 generates a drive signal based on the external synchronization cycle signal when the frequency of the external synchronization cycle signal is in a predetermined range and based on the internal cycle signal when it deviates from the predetermined range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
