PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat operation lever for bringing a seat back position into a changeable state by a pull-up operation, achieving the superior ease of operation even if a seated person having long fingernails performs the pull-up operation like an ordinary seated person performs the pull-up operation. SOLUTION: A downward projecting finger hooking projected portion 25 is formed in the vicinity of a tip 20F in a finger contact surface 21D of a finger hooking step 21. The finger hooking projected portion 25 is downward projected 1-5 mm with respect to a side edge 23. Also in the finger contact surface 21D of the finger hooking step 21, an upward recessed finger fitting surface 26 continuous with the finger hooking projected portion 25 is formed at an adjacent portion toward a base end 20R with respect to the finger hooking projected portion 25.
