PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To announce a warning relating to crime-ridden areas according to the state of a user of each vehicle. SOLUTION: An onboard electronic device includes: an input means 12 for assigning a destination; a crime-ridden area storage means 15 storing crime-ridden area data; an announcement means (for example, voice announcement means 17); and a control means 10. The crime-ridden area storage means 15 stores types of crimes including at least theft of vehicles and onboard electronic devices and a crime rate of each type for each area, and information of warning statements according to the types of crimes. When the crime rate of an area including the assigned destination at the calculated time zone is not less than a predetermine value set in advance, the control means 10 makes the announcement means 17 search an area with a lower crime rate than the predetermined value, and perform guidance when the type of a corresponding crime is theft of vehicles, and selects a corresponding warning statement and makes the announcement means 17 announce an alert warning when the type of the corresponding crime is theft of onboard electronic devices.
