摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combined cycle hybrid reciprocating engine in which a compressed-air engine, a steam engine, and an internal combustion engine are combined. SOLUTION: The combined cycle hybrid reciprocating (motion) engine is a combined engine in which a drive shaft 55 of an air compressor 51 is arranged on a drive shaft 54 of a unit 53 functioning as internal combustion engine, and an air pressure accumulation vessel 45 and a changeover valve are communicated with an intake side and a discharge side of the air compressor 51. During acceleration, the unit 53 functioning as internal combustion engine is used as it is as a four-cycle engine. During braking, the air compressor 51 controls valve opening and closing as a two-cycle air compressor and accumulates pressure.
