<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire air pressure drop detecting device capable of determining simultaneous pressure reduction in front wheel two-wheel tires and rear wheel two-wheel tires. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This tire air pressure drop detecting device includes a rotating speed detecting means for periodically detecting a rotating speed of a tire of respective wheels of a vehicle, a rotating wheel speed ratio calculating means for determining the rotating wheel speed ratio of the front-rear wheels of the vehicle from rotating speed information provided thereby, a wheel torque calculating means for determining wheel torque of the vehicle, an initializing means for determining the relationship between the wheel torque in normal internal pressure and the rotating wheel speed ratio of the front-rear wheels, a storage means for storing the relationship determined by this initializing means, a comparing means for comparing the rotating wheel speed ratio provided by the rotating wheel speed ratio calculating means with the rotating wheel speed ratio in the normal internal pressure provided from the wheel torque provided by the wheel torque calculating means and the relationship stored in the storage means, and a determining means for determining whether or not tire air pressure is reduced based on a comparing result by this comparing means.
