Preparing an agent with prolonged chilling effect against snails or molluscicide effect based on plant material, comprises: (a) chopping plant raw material; (b) fermenting at least one portion of the chopped and optionally moistened raw material; (c) homogenizing and/or thickening the total or at least partially fermented raw material to obtain a portionable mass; and (d) portioning the product obtained from the step (c) to obtain an agent with long-lasting chilling effect against the snails or molluscicide effect. Preparing an agent with prolonged chilling effect against snails or molluscicide effect based on plant material, comprises: (a) chopping plant raw material; (b) fermenting at least one portion of the chopped and optionally moistened raw material; (c) homogenizing and/or thickening the total or at least partially fermented raw material to obtain a portionable mass, where a plant material and/or plant extract from fruits of Sapindus mukorossiis/are added during the step of thickening and/or homogenizing; and (d) portioning the product obtained from the step (c) to obtain an agent with long-lasting chilling effect against the snails or molluscicide effect. Independent claims are included for: (1) a method-2 for preparing a long-term fertilizer with simultaneous chilling effect against snails or molluscicide effect comprising the steps (a), (b), homogenizing and/or thickening the total or at least partially fermented raw material to obtain a portionable mass, where in the progression of the thickening and/or homogenizing a plant material and/or plant extract from fruits of S. mukorossiand a fertilizer are added, and step (d); and (2) the agent and the long-term fertilizer prepared by the methods.
