PURPOSE: An elevator system using a wireless network and a control method thereof are provided to be automatically operated without pressing a button and to enable user having the difficulty of a button operation to use the elevator. CONSTITUTION: An elevator system(100) using a wireless network comprises an RFID chip(109) wherein information about elevator users is registered, an RFID reader(105) which reads the information registered in the RFID chip, a wireless network camera(107) which transmits a moving picture and a voice which are taken from the outside and the inside of the elevator, a monitoring module which uses the moving picture and the voice received from the wireless network camera and monitors the outside and the inside of the elevator, and a controller(103) which reads the information registered in the RFID chip which user possesses by using the RFID read part and moves the elevator according to the registered information. The controller transmits the moving picture and the voice to monitoring by using the wireless network camera. |
