PURPOSE: An air-conditioner operation control method is provided to easily change the operation mode of an air-conditioner to a desired mode by subsequentially performing a plurality of operation modes. CONSTITUTION: An air-conditioner operation control method is as follows. One or more of a plurality of operation modes are selected and the selected operation modes are combined to be subsequentially performed depending on time and an internal temperature(S22). One or more operation modes are selected among a first operation mode in which strong cooling is performed for a predetermined time, a second operation mode in which automatic cooling is performed by automatically fixing a target temperature, wind volume, and wind direction according to an internal temperature, and a third operation mode in which power-saving cooling is performed if the internal temperature reaches the target temperature. An operation time is set up for the selected operation mode or the target temperature and a operation time are set up so that the selected operation mode is performed according to the internal temperature(S23).
