BANDWIDTH DETECTING DEVICE AND METHOD, AND OFDM RECEIVING APPARATUS COMPRISING THE SAME DEVICE

PURPOSE: A device and a method for detecting a band-width, and an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) receiver including the same are provided to improve the detection for the band-width by calculating a threshold value with the absolute value of a complex signal which is accumulated in a storing unit. CONSTITUTION: A signal accumulating unit(610) successively accumulates the absolute value of complex signal which is processed with fast Fourier transform. A threshold value calculating unit(630) calculates a threshold value for verifying a band-width by detecting the maximum output signal of the signal accumulating unit. A band-width verifying unit(650) verifies the band-width of the complex signal by comparing the threshold value and the output signal of the signal accumulating unit.
