PURPOSE: An image sensor and a method for manufacturing thereof are provided to prevent the saturation and sensitivity degradation by forming a charge connection area and forming a smooth transfer route of a photo charge. CONSTITUTION: A readout circuitry is formed in a first substrate. A wiring is formed on the first substrate. A light sensing device(210) including a first conducive layer and a second conductive layer is formed on the wiring. A contact plug interlinks the light sensing unit and the wiring. A parting layer(220) between pixels is formed in the light sensing unit. A ground line(260) is formed on the parting layer between the pixels.
