PURPOSE: A semiconductor device and an operation method thereof are provided to improve the margin of an input strobe signal and a plurality of alignment data by latching the plural alignment data. CONSTITUTION: A data alignment unit(410) aligns a plurality of serial input data. The data alignment unit latches aligned data and outputs it. The data output unit(430) outputs the output signal of the data alignment unit to parallel output data. A first synchronization pulse signal is activated in response to the information of a first burst length. First and second synchronization pulse signal is activated in response to the information of first burst length.
