摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein having an excellent characteristic for measuring fructosyl-L-valylhistidine, and to provide a method for using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This protein is featured by the following (I) or (II). (I) The protein is produced by substituting an amino acid at a specific position of a specific amino acid sequence-having polypeptide originated from Cryptococcus neoformans, and has fructosyl-valylhistidine oxidase activity, and in which the ratio of &epsi;-fructosyl-L-lysine reactivity to fructosyl-L-valylhistidine reactivity is lower than that of a wild type protein, and (II) the protein of feature (I) in which one or more amino acid residues are substituted, deleted and/or added, which has fructosyl-valylhistidine oxidase activity, and in which the ratio of the &epsi;-fructosyl-L-lysine reactivity to the fructosyl-L-valylhistidine reactivity is lower than that of a wild type protein. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
