PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shading material lifting device for a solar shading device, reducing the descending speed of a bottom rail when a solar shading material is operated to descend. SOLUTION: The shading material lifting device for the solar shading material can perform the ascending operation of slats suspension-supported from a head box by pulling out lifting cords 10 from the head box and the descending operation of the slats by pulling the lifting cords 10 into the head box by the own weight of the slats and bottom rail. The head box is provided with oil damper built-in pulley 20 loaded with oil dampers 20a for reducing the displacement speed of the lifting cords 10 at the displacement of the lifting cords 10 while turning with the displacement of the lifting cords 10, corresponding to the respective lifting cords 10.
