PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the operation state of a cordless slave unit even in a power failure state. SOLUTION: A management device 50 uses one of pieces of slave unit identification information of each cordless slave unit 10 previously registered in a storage unit and its own management identification information to transmit a communication request message containing the slave unit identification information and the management identification information to the cordless slave unit 10 corresponding to the slave unit identification information through wireless communication, and displays the operation state of the cordless slave unit 10 according to whether an answer message is received from the cordless slave unit 10. The cordless slave unit 10 determines whether to permit access from the management device 50 on the basis of correctness of the management identification information reported with the communication request message from the management device 50 in response to the communication request, and transmits the answer message to the management device 50 according to a decision that the access is permitted.
