PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition giving excellent whitening effects and also luster to teeth. SOLUTION: The composition for removing solid products formed on the surface of teeth contains 0.05-18 mass% of phytic acid or a salt thereof, contains no polyvalent cation or contains a polyvalent cation in an amount of less than 0.1-fold mole relative to the content of the phytic acid. A diluted solution of the oral composition in water at concentration of 30 mass% has a pH value of 5.5 to 6.5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
