<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of keeping sharpness of edges of high density characters even in the case of executing density correction processing to printing jobs. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus applying the density correction to individual objects included in the printing jobs, in which the individual objects included in the printing jobs are character object, determines whether or not the character density of the objects is the predetermined value or more (S303, S304), and excludes the character objects whose character densities are determined to be the predetermined value or more from the objects of the density correcting processing (S304, S305).
