<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyketone fiber cord excellent in heat-resistant mechanical strength retainability, particularly excellent in both heat-resistant durable adhesivity and the adhesivity to heat-resistant rubbers. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The polyketone fiber cord is composed of polyketone fibers each composed of 1-oxotrimethylene with 95 mol% or more of its recurring units each represented by formula (1):-(CH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>-CO)-. In the polyketone fiber cord, the polyketone fiber contains 0-50 ppm of palladium element, 10-3,000 ppm of phosphorus element, and 0-50 ppm of zinc element; and the surface of the polyketone fiber is coated with an adhesive including a condensate of a substituted phenol, resorcinol and formaldehyde.
