PURPOSE: A device and a method for restricting selling and handling discount in a vending machine are provided to prevent youths and teenagers from selling a specific product, such as a carbonated drink. CONSTITUTION: A device for restricting selling and handling discount in a vending machine comprises a communication unit(200), a card reader(190), and a controller(140). Event information and user information are supplied to the communication unit, and the communication unit transfers the information to a server. The card reader reads a card of a user and changes cost information depending on used costs. And the card reader records the changed cost information to the card. The controller extracts the user information and restricts selling. |
