The present invention relates to a support structure for a toilet bowl, comprising: a wall panel in which are integrated a water reservoir, a flushing channel connected to the water reservoir and a discharge channel, which are each accessible from an outer side of the wall panel and which flushing channel and discharge channel can be connected on a front side of the wall panel to a toilet bowl to be connected to the support structure, wherein the wall panel is substantially flat on the front side and the support structure is 56 to 120 centimetres wide, preferably 70 to 110 centimetres, and more preferably 80 to 98 centimetres. The invention also relates to a method for fixing a support structure for a toilet bowl to a wall part of a toilet space.
