PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device free from disorder like a crack on a reflection mirror. SOLUTION: On the light source device composed of the reflection mirror, a double end type discharge lamp having a pair of electrodes, and an insulator fixed to the reflection mirror with an inorganic adhesive on which the discharge lamp is fixed, the insulator and the reflection mirror are fixed so as to arrange the discharge lamp on the reflection mirror in light axis direction.
