PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of retrieving a concept as it is by combining a machine translation and a concept retrieval even when literature data to be an examination target are prepared in a language different from the language ordinarily used. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a translation means for translating a sentence for retrieval inputted by a client into the language to be used for a stem vector preparing means, a document vector preparing means for retrieval for preparing a document vector for retrieval from the sentence for retrieval translated by that translation means and the stem vector, a vector operating means for operating the arithmetic vector values of the document vector for retrieval and a document vector group, and a sort means for sorting the retrieval target document groups in the order of operated arithmetic vector values and outputting the sorted result to the output means of the client. |
