<p>Submersible pool cleaning vehicle (20) having an endless loop track (30), the vehicle including a housing (60) and the housing having members (24) for moving the vehicle around the pool surface. The vehicle includes an endless loop track (30). The track has an exterior (34) and an interior (32), the interior having a series of ribs (40) and ridges (42), the ribs having a predetermined width and pitch. The ribs (40) are centrally located on the track (30) while the ridges flank either side of the ribs. The vehicle includes drive members (24) for moving the vehicle around the pool surface. The drive members (24) and associated members (50) for moving the vehicle have an exterior surface with a series of grooves (27) and ridges for compatible connection with the ribs. The width of the rib (40) is substantially smaller than the width of the groove (27) and the track ribs engage the groves.</p> |
