<p>The press sleeve (2) has front and/or rear ends including a radial inwardly aligned bending (13) in an insertion direction of a composite pipe. The bending is formed for holding the press sleeve on a press fitting by engagement in a recess of the press fitting. The bending has a set of regions that is removed by cutting at a circumferential direction in circular segments. A radial outwardly projecting, corrugated molding (11) is formed in the insertion direction. Another molding (12) is formed at a distance from the former molding. An independent claim is also included for a method for attaching a press sleeve to a press fitting.</p> |
