METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF BIO-ETHANOL FROM GREEN ALGAE, RED ALGAE AND BROWN ALGAE USING SUPERCRITICAL FLUID

PURPOSE: A method for producing ethanol from green algae, red algae, and brown algae is provided to minimize polysaccharide loss and to enhance ethanol yield. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing ethanol comprises: a step of drying green algae using supercritical carbon dioxide for 40-60 minutes; a step of adding carbon dioxide lyase and cellulose; a step of adding strain which produces ethanol and fermenting; and a step of treating with carbon dioxide lyase. The strain producing ethanol is Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
