PURPOSE: A VoIP gateway for processing a call from a magneto telephone and a processing method thereof are provided to process a call of a magnetic phone subscriber after accepting the subscriber. CONSTITUTION: An operation information management unit(123) manages physical location information such as a card number and a port number which accept a subscriber through mapping. A digital signal processing unit(119) converts voice data into an IP packet according to the opening of a voice communication path to a subscriber, and a call processing unit(117) receives a destination call to a destination phone number according to an SIP(Session Initialization Protocol) protocol from an SIP proxy server. The call processing unit performs the call processing according to the destination call.
