Method of combustion of glycerine or glycerol mixtures is designed so that the glycerine or a mixture containing glycerol was fed to the atmospheric vapour burner from an organized or disorganized porous and/or fibrous material or material with a thermal conductivity of ? = 1 to 430 W.m.-1.K.-1. Glycerol is evaporated and the resulting vapour with content of glycerol is burned in the presence of air oxygen on the surface of the hot atmospheric vapour burner. The atmospheric vapour burner is fully or partially metallic. The atmospheric vaporizer burner can be made of steel fibres or an organized structure consisting of metallic fibres of any content and organic fibres.
