Method, control program and system for determining at least one parameter of the chassis of a steerable vehicle

The method involves determining a normal vector, which is perpendicular to a wheel plane, for determining different steering angle positions. A circular arc is defined about a steering axis during steering angle by the normal vector. A steering plane, which is parallel to the circular arc about the steering axis, based on the normal vector. Run of the steering axis is derivable from the determined steering plane. A caster and/or a steering axis inclination are determined as an angle between projection of the steering axis on predetermined planes and a reference axis. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a controlling program for determining a suspension parameter of a steerable vehicle (2) a system for determining a suspension parameter of a steerable vehicle.
