<p>The efficient face milling for roughing and finishing of a surface is described, in which roughing cutting knife (1) at the radius rh is radially placed in a rotating body, and finishing cutting knife (2) with large radius of the tip r on the radius of the body rd which is less than rh, which is also axially displaced by the value of its final depth of cut apd. The advantage of the solution is to achieve the prescribed quality of the machined surface at a significantly higher displacement of the tool. This gives the opportunity to increase productivity of milling of flat surfaces.</p> |
