PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing display device of protective plate is provided to arrange protective plate for protecting viewing surface into one. CONSTITUTION: A protection plate(9) is overlapped in a display panel(1). A spacer(11) and filler(4) is interposed between the protective plate and the display panel. By pressing through the protective plate, the filler which is supplied on one side of the display panel is pressed and widened. A spacer discharges an air within area surrounded by spacer from a discharge unit. In the pressurization state, the polymerization of the filler by ultraviolet is operated.
