PURPOSE: A division method is provided to efficiently use resources by reducing division processes based on a subtraction principle. CONSTITUTION: Division target values are inputted(S101), and the digits of division target values are calculated(S102). The digit difference between a dividend and a figure is calculated(S103). If the difference is lower than 0, the difference is adjusted by multiplying the dividend by 1/10 or by 10(S104). The figure is subtracted until the residual value is equal to or lower than the figure(S105). If the residual value which remains after subtracting the dividend from the figure is 0, the subtraction value is determined as the division value(S107).
