PURPOSE: A G(Gravity) sensor for a video recording system of a vehicle is provided to photograph a collision stronger than a set level collision and store information on the collision to be used as evidence. CONSTITUTION: A G sensor for a video recording system of a vehicle comprises a sensor body, a bracket, a power indicator, a display panel(115), an output terminal(116), a power terminal(117), a sensitivity control switch(118), and a controller(120). The bracket is formed in four sides of the sensor body and fixed to a vehicle. The power indicator is installed in the sensor body and indicates a power state. The direction indicators indicate a transmission direction of an impact. The controller outputs information detected by a sensor terminal(121) of the controller, which senses the intensity and direction of an impact and the controller, through the output terminal.
