PURPOSE: A method for predicting the load of hot plate rolling is provided to omit repeated calculation during setting pass schedule due to load sharing calculation before rolling. CONSTITUTION: A method for predicting the load of hot plate rolling comprises following steps. A rolling shape influence factor is grasped(ST100). Rolling load is calculated by using the rolling shape influence factor, reference stiffness, temperature effect factor, speed influence factor, reduction rate, material width, lock radius, and roll elasticity modification factor(ST140).
