EQUIPMENTS AND METHOD FOR WARMING UP LNG CARGO TANK

PURPOSE: A warming apparatus of a LNG cargo tank and a method thereof are provided to reduce the number of additional components by using a heater for LNG gas to heat up inert gas. CONSTITUTION: A warming apparatus(1) of a LNG cargo tank comprises an inert gas feeding unit(10) which supplies inert gas to a LNG cargo tank inside and a heater(20) which heats the inert gas which flowing from the inert gas feeding unit to the LNG cargo tank. The heater is arranged in a pipe in which one of the LNG and the inert gas selectively flows. The heater heats one of the LNG and the inert gas. The heater heats the inert gas to reach to 50 ~ 80°C. The inert gas feeding unit includes an inactive gas generator(12).
