PURPOSE: A trans-reflective liquid crystal display device and a method of manufacturing the same are provided to improve contrast rate of a reflection unit by forming a dual cell cap. CONSTITUTION: A reflection electrode(218') is formed on a reflection part of a first substrate(210) which a third insulating layer(215c) having an embossing pattern is formed. A overcoat layer(215) is formed. A contact hole which exposes a part of a drain electrode(223) is formed by removing a part area of a second insulating layer(215b) and a fourth insulating layer(215d). A pixel electrode(218) which electrically connects to the drain electrodes is formed. A fifth insulating layer(215e) is formed on the first substrate. A common electrode(208) is formed in the whole pixel. |
