PURPOSE: A digital analog converter is provided to minimize power consumption by selectively switching current sources and switching parts which are subordinately connected to the output terminal of the current source into a sleep mode. CONSTITUTION: A decoder offers a plurality of thermometer decoding signals by receiving a plurality of digital input signals. A current supply part selectively outputs a plurality of switching power signals by including a plurality of current sources. A switching part comprises a plurality of switching parts which operate as one between a sleep mode and an operation mode according to the control of the thermometer decoding signals. The switching part outputs an analog signal according to the control of the thermometer decoding signals. An i-th current source is switched into an operation mode or sleeping mode according to the state of the output of an (i-1)-th current source and an i-th thermometer decoding signal.
