<p>PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display and a driving method thereof are provided to enhance image quality by preventing the malfunction of the discharge circuit. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display comprises an LCD panel(10) and a discharge circuit(15). The LCD panel comprises a plurality of data lines, N gate lines, a plurality of TFTs, and liquid crystal cells. Liquid crystal cells are connected to the plural TFTs. The discharge circuit senses the variation of a power voltage. The discharge circuit supplies a voltage more than the threshold voltage of TFTs to the gate lines. The discharge circuit discharges the electric charge of the pixel array.</p> |
