PURPOSE: An automatic teller machine equipped with the scanning function and a recording medium thereof are provided to skip an additional scanning process. CONSTITUTION: A scanning processor(177) scans the image data of a check deposited through a check deposit unit. An information storage unit(183) stores a check image data temporarily in a memory of an automatic teller machine in relation with the card information of a customer. An information transmitter(180) collects the stored check image data and the card information, and transmit them to a server periodically.
