<p>PURPOSE: A method for releasing radio bearer in a wireless communication system and a receiver are provided to improve the efficiency of radio resource by preventing duplicated data from transmitting. CONSTITUTION: A radio resource control(RRC) requests for the release of a radio bearer to a radio link control(RLC) and a packet data convergence protocol(PDCP). The RLC saves RLC protocol data unit(PDU)s(702, 703, 705) with respectively sequence number(SN) 6, 7, and 9 in an RLC receiving buffer. An RLC PDU with SN 5(701) and an RLC PDU with SN 8(704) wait for signal. The RLC extracts a first RLC service data unit(SDU)(711) from the RLC PDU with SN 6 and the RLC PDU with SN 7. The RLC extracts a second RLC SDU from the RLC PDU with SN 9.</p> |
