PURPOSE: An oil seal and a rotation apparatus are provided to prevent weight and the number of component from increased even though a gap is formed between two members which hermetically seals. CONSTITUTION: Oil seals(134, 136, 150) comprises a metal ring(156) and a lip part(152) which is supported with the metal ring and provides a grease storage(154) between the lip part and the metal ring. The grease storage is able to collects lubricant between the lip part and the metal ring and includes an extension part(158) in which the end part of the metal ring is extended to the diameter direction. A bent portion(160) bent from the leading end of the extension part to the axial direction is included. An insulator is at least formed on one among the extension parts.
