PURPOSE: An electric connector is provided to prevent the looseness of a lock member even when power is applied downwardly. CONSTITUTION: A lock member(30) has leg units formed at the both side of bending unit(31), and a leg unit of one direction constitutes the attached unit(32) attached to an external wall of a housing(10). The leg unit of the other side constitutes a flexible unit(33) which enables the elastic bending forward the attached unit. An engagement unit(32B) is engaged with the engagement protrusion(18) of an external wall. A lock unit(36) is engaged with the corresponding unit of the other connector(2). An operation unit(34) receives a pressure operation forward the outer wall.
