PURPOSE: A cable installation apparatus for a bridge is provided to reduce the installation period and cost for main cables of a bridge by placing multiple strands from a single strand drawing device. CONSTITUTION: A cable installation apparatus for a bridge comprises a strand drawing device(10), a fixed wheel unit(40), and a movable wheel unit(60). The fixed wheel unit is linked with the strand drawing device and fixed in a bridge installation area. The fixed wheel unit comprises unit wheels which are formed in a shaft(44) connected to a stand in an bridge anchor area(A) and independently rotated, and an integrated unit wheel(40'a) which is integrated in the shaft and whose diameter is adjustable. The movable wheel unit is linked with the fixed wheel unit and moved along a bridge to carry out cable installation in the bridge. The moving wheel unit comprises unit wheels which are formed in a movable shaft(66) connected to a movable stand(64) connected to a hauling rope(62) and which are independently rotated, and an integrated unit wheel(60'a) which is integrated in the shaft and whose diameter is adjustable.
