PURPOSE: A reaction container for sponge titanium manufacture is provided to maintain a reaction system below a fixed temperature by effectively cooling reaction heat caused by reaction between TiSl4 and magnesium. CONSTITUTION: A reaction container for sponge titanium manufacture creates sponge titanium through reaction between TiSl4 and magnesium. A coolant path(21) is formed along the inner circumference of the reaction container. A cooling unit is mounted on an upper part of the reaction container including a reaction area and inserted inside the wall of the reaction container.
