NETWORK BASED IRC AND HTTP BOTNET DETECT AND COUNTERMEASURE SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A system for detecting and treating IRC and HTTP botnet based on a network and a method thereof are provided to effectively protect IRC and HTTP botnet using a system for botnet control and security management. CONSTITUTION: A botnet detecting system(200) is formed in multiple internet service provider networks. A system for botnet control and security management(300) shares botnet information between the multiple internet service provider networks. A traffic information gathering sensor(100) is distributed to the multiple internet service provider networks to transmit the traffic information to the botnet detecting system.
