PURPOSE: A pipe lining material and a pipe lining method are provided to prevent the inner surface of pipes from becoming uneven by forming a rigid cured resin layer on the inner surface of the pipes. CONSTITUTION: A pipe lining material(1) comprises a tubular resin absorbing material(101) and a tube(102). The tubular resin absorbing material is impregnated with liquid curable resin. The tube is detachably covered over the tubular resin absorbing material. While the inner surface of an existing pipe(10) is pressed, the liquid curable resin impregnated in the tubular resin absorbing material is cured and the tube is removed from the tubular resin absorbing material, so that the surface of the tubular resin absorbing material forms a regenerated inner surface of the existing pipe.
