PURPOSE: A method for compensating data is provided to improve the rising bounce of a liquid crystal by generating compensation data of a current frame through compensation data which has a value lower than a current gradation value. CONSTITUTION: Image data of an n-th frame is converted to previous compensation data of n-th frame. The previous compensation data of n-th frame has gradation less than the image data of an n-th frame. The previous compensation data of the n-the frame is stored. The compensation data of the n-the frame is generated. The compensation data of n-th frame has gradation more than the image data of an n-th frame.
