PURPOSE: A display device is provided to irradiate light onto a wide area by using the illumination device. CONSTITUTION: A display body includes a display module and a cabinet which protects the display module. A light emitting unit(16) generates light according to an operation state of the display body. The light generated from the light emitting unit is projected onto a diffusion unit(14), and diffuses the incident light in the other direction which is crossed with the one direction in which the light is received. A reflection surface(143) reflects the incident light to the other direction.
